when i first met andy & darci, we were part of a small Bible study. we didn't have kids and could stay up past 9pm without dying the next day. we were newly-ish married and praying about God giving us children. fast-forward twelve years and we have eight kids between the two of us! one of the best perks of my job is that it gives a handy excuse to visit with people i just really like, but don't get to see regularly.
this sweet family was ready with smiles and joy in their hearts. such a treat to see a family that enjoys their time together! my afternoon was well spent adventuring around my property with the wasses. thank you, andy & darci!

one of the best things about being a portrait photographer is that so many of your clients become your friends. so when a long-time client contacts you about a portrait session, its not just picture time, but also time to enjoy the company of friends!
when i first met jason & jill, their younger son was 6 WEEKS OLD. now he is FIVE. why must these children grow up?! it is truly a joy to watch my families grow and change. these two boys were amazing at our session - such happy, enthusiastic little people. the weather and lighting was simply fantastic. a beautiful recipe for gorgeous images of a darling, darling family.
thank you for spending a glorious afternoon with me, reed family!
